Artur Vanetsyan meets with Aleksander Ceferin

The delegation of Football Federation of Armenia headed by FFA President Artur Vanetsyan left for Ireland to participate in Euro 2020 qualifying round draw in Dublin. The delegation includes FFA First Vice-President and General Secretary Armen Melikbekyan, Armenian national team head coach Armen Gyulbudaghyants, the head of national teams department David Avanesyan and the head of FFA public relations department Hayk Karapetyan.

On December 1, a meeting was held with the participation of UEFA President Alexander Cheferin, Director of UEFA National Associations Division Zoran Lakovic, FFA President Artur Vanetsyan and First Vice President of FFA, Secretary General Armen Melikbekyan. During the meeting, a wide range of cooperation was discussed, in particular, infrastructure development programs implemented by FFA in the regions of Armenia for the next four years. The Armenian side presented in detail the plans to build a new national stadium. The UEFA President expressed his readiness to support the FFA in all possible ways, in particular, with the construction of a new stadium, UEFA standards, design, expert support from UEFA and professional advice.

Other members of the FFA delegation also held meeting-workshops on December 1. The head of national teams department David Avanesyan took part in the workshop of the heads of the respective departments, during which a number of organizational issues of Nations League were discussed, as well as the details related to the qualifying round of Euro 2020.

The head of FFA public relations department, Hayk Karapetyan, took part in the conference with the participation of 55 spokespersons for the UEFA member federations, where the achievements of Nations League in the field of media were presented, as well as issues of media coverage, technical, social activity during the Euro and other media related processes.
