Armenia futsal team to play with Georgia, Malta and Moldova
From 2nd to 18th November 2012, Thailand will host Futsal World Cup. On July 7 in Nyon was conducted a draw for preliminary and main round of the European qualifying zone. During the preliminary round 20 teams have been divided into five groups. Armenia futsal national team is in group A, where it will play with Georgia, Moldova and Malta. Group tournament will be held in Georgia from the 19th to 23rd October. Ulysses and Banants dropped out of the UEFA club competition
On July 7 Ulysses and Banants played its second leg matches of the Europa League first qualifying round. Banants played away match with a Georgian Metallurgi, meanwhile Ulysses took the Hungarian Ferencvaros. Suffering defeats in first matches, respectively with 0:1 and 0:3 scores, our teams had to make every effort to clear these handicaps. Erebuni will play group tournament in Cyprus
UEFA Futsal Cup 2011/2012 season preliminary and main rounds draw was conducted at the headquarters of UEFA on July 6. This season in the tournament will participate 49 teams, 45 of which were assigned to seven and six groups of preliminary and main rounds respectively. Armenian champion Erebuni starts the tournament from preliminary round. The team came into the group G, where its rivals would be Omonia Nicosia (Cyprus), Flamurtari Flora (Albania), and Sporting Club de Paris (France).
