French TV companies made an interesting programme about Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan before Armenia-Luxembourg friendly match. Mkhitaryan arrived in Valence 18 years after his father played in Valence.

“My father has played in Valence for 7 years,- Henrikh Mkhitaryan says. After that we had to return to Armenia, where he died. Anyway, life still goes on, I am sure he sees me from above and is proud of me”.

“I am glad, that my son will play in the stadium his father has played,- Marina Taschyan, Henrikh`s mother says. At the same time I have contrast feelings, because the atmosphere here makes me remember the days spent with Hamlet here”.
