11 clubs granted National licenses
On March 26, a regular session of the FFA Club Licensing Committee (First Instance Body) was held at the FFA headquarters. During the session, the non-financial documentation packages of clubs applying for a National License were reviewed. These included 9 clubs from the 2020/2021 VBET Armenian Premier League season - Alashkert, Shirak, Pyunik, Van, Urartu, Ararat, Noah, Ararat-Armenia, and Vanadzor Football Academy — as well as 2 clubs from the 2020/2021 Armenian First League — Sevan and West Armenia football clubs.
The licenses will entitle these clubs to participate in the 2021/2022 VBET Armenian Premier League season, starting in the summer.
The Licensing Committee made a unanimous decision to grant National Licenses to all the applicant clubs: FC Alashkert, FC Shirak, FC Pyunik, FC Van, FC Urartu, FC Ararat, FC Noah, FC Ararat-Armenia, Vanadzor Football Academy, FC West Armenia, and FC Sevan.
Following the granting of National Licenses, the clubs will now participate in the UEFA licensing process and begin preparing their financial documentation packages to obtain the corresponding UEFA license.
