Aleksander Čeferin congratulated Armen Melikbekyan

The FFA presidental elections took place on December 23. The acting president Armen Melikbekyan was re-elected as FFA president. UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin congratulated Armen Melikbekyan on this occasion.

I am delighted to congratulate you on your re-election as President of the Football Federation of Armenia.
I know with certainty, Armen, that you will strive to continue your productive work at the helm of this hard-working
and successful national association. Your extensive experience in sport development has brought much progress to
football in Armenia and in a great many diverse areas - national teams, clubs, youth, grassroots and community
programmes as well as widespread infrastructure to open up access to encourage new participation and support.

Please accept my best wishes as you move confidently into 2024. Your year-end celebration with your family and
loved ones will certainly be a special one! And I trust you already know that UEFA remains at your side as the FFA
takes greater steps forward to meet its full potential.
