Armen Melikbekyan awarded Henrik Nalbandyan and Mesrop Ghazaryan

FFA President Armen Melikbekyan presented certificates of honor to Henrik Nalbandyan, recognized as the Referee of Season 2022/2023, and Mesrop Ghazaryan, recognized as the Assistant referee of the season.

"Over the past two years the picture of refereeing in Armenia has changed dramatically. The involvement of a large number of young referees contributed to the improvement of the quality of the field, as a result of which our referees began to receive more appointments for international matches.

Of course, there are problems in this area, of but we have a roadmap for solving them and the expectation that in the upcoming years we will have more referees serving Armenian Premier League matches, and our country will have more representation in the international arena.

I am happy to present the best Referee prize to Henrik Nalbandyan and the best Assistant referee prize to Mesrop Ghazaryan, who, among several other referees, should lead the Armenian referee school in the international arena," said FFA President Armen Melikbekyan in an interview with the FFA official website.
