8 clubs granted license to participate in the 2024/2025 Armenian First League season
The regular meeting of the FFA Club Licensing Committee (First Instance Body) was held to discuss the licensing of clubs applying to participate in the Armenian First League Championship.
During the session, the licensing documentation packages submitted by nine applicants were reviewed. These included: Andranik FA NGO, Bentonite FA NGO, Lernayin Artsakh FA LLC, Lori-Vanadzor FA NGO, SA Mika NGO, Nikarm FA LLC, Olympia FA NGO, Onor LLC, mSardarapat FA NGO. These clubs had applied for a license to participate in the First League.
Following a thorough review, the Licensing Committee unanimously decided to grant First League licenses to eight of the applicant clubs:
Andranik FA NGO, Bentonite FA NGO, Lernayin Artsakh FA LLC, Lori-Vanadzor FA NGO, SA Mika NGO, Nikarm FA LLC, Olympia FA NGO, and Sardarapat FA NGO. These licenses entitle them to participate in the Armenian First League Championship for the 2024/2025 season.
The Licensing Committee decided to reject the application submitted by Onor LLC, as the club failed to meet the sporting, personnel and administrative, financial, and infrastructure criteria required by the 2024 edition of the Armenian First League Club Licensing Regulations, specifically Articles 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 30, 31, 32, 36, 37, 45, and 46.
As a result of the rejection, the first team of Onor LLC will not be eligible to participate in the 2024/2025 Armenian First League Championship.
The club retains the right to appeal the decision of the FFA Club Licensing Committee (First Instance Body) within five working days, in accordance with the established procedure, by submitting a request to the Appeals Body of the FFA Club Licensing System.
