The waves of Lake Sevan on the Armenian National team’s new third kit

References to Armenia’s natural heritage, first seen on the national squad’s ‘Home’ kit, are back again on the new ‘Third’ shirt just presented by the Football Federation of Armenia and Macron. After the profile of Mount Ararat on the ‘Home’ shirt, now it is the turn of Lake Sevan and its many colours to feature in the design and graphics of the ‘Third’ shirt that the Հավաքական (The Collective) will wear in coming international games.

The new ‘Third’ shirt has a crew neck and a series of wavy horizontal lines in different shades of blue, from dark to light. The design conveys the rippling movement of the waves on the surface of Lake Sevan, Armenia’s largest lake and one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world. Various monasteries dating back to the Middle Ages stand on its shores, Sevanavank being the most famous. The Macron Hero and the badge of the Football Federation of Armenia are both printed in silicone on the chest.

The customised inside label has a dark red background with diagonal stripes in red, blue and orange, the colours of the Armenian flag. Also on the label are the FFA logo, that of Macron and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and produced at the Macron Campus in Valsamoggia. An Armenian flag is printed behind the neck. The kit is completed by blue shorts and socks.

Like all the kits that Macron produces for its partner clubs and federations, Armenia’s new Third kit is made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled post-consumer plastic. In particular, the main material is Eco Exalock (for the central body and sleeves), with an Eco Micromesh panel in the back and Eco Mesh inserts for reduced weight and improved breathability.

All the new kits of the Armenian Football Federation can be purchased from the dedicated space on the macron.com website.
