UEFA Womens Nations League match between Israel and Armenia has been postponed

Women's football 21.09.2023 12:00

Armenian Women's national team could not travel to Israel to take part in the UEFA Women's Nations League match between Israel and Armenia to be held on September 21 in Rishon Le Zion, Israel. The reason is the cancellation of a number of flights scheduled for September 20.

Football Federation of Armenia informed UEFA that the next possible flight would have them land in Israel on Matchday and without sufficient time for a suitable sporting preparation.

In addition, the Football federation of Israel informed UEFA that due to their own travel arrangements linked to their second match of the international window in Estonia, the match could not be postponed to the next day.

Considering all the above-mentioned circumstances, UEFA made a decision to postpone the match between Israel and Armenia.

Following a meeting, it was agreed with both teams that the ISR vs ARM and ARM vs ISR fixtures will be played as follows:

 • ARM vs ISR: 29.11.2023 (previously scheduled on 30.11.2023)

 • ISR vs ARM: 02.12.2023 (previously scheduled on 21.09.2023)
