Artur Azaryan bids farewell to the FFA

FFA 21.10.2025 11:10

FFA General Secretary Artur Azaryan has officially bid farewell to his colleagues at the Football Federation of Armenia. He will continue his professional journey on the international football stage. The next phase of his career will remain focused on supporting Armenian football and raising its visibility abroad.

“I am grateful to the FFA for the experience and opportunities. What I have gained at the FFA is truly priceless. It is difficult to leave a workplace where you have dedicated yourself day and night for 18 years. The emotions I’ve lived through here will stay with me for a lifetime. I have always been connected to this organization and will continue to be. Within the limits of my capabilities, I will always stand by the FFA and Armenian football. I wish us all success, as I will always consider myself part of this whole. The success of the national team and Armenian football will always be mine as well. I thank the FFA leadership for the opportunity and all of my colleagues for our effective cooperation,” said Artur Azaryan.

“I would like to thank Artur Azaryan for his years of dedicated service and professionalism. I wish him new achievements, boundless opportunities, and success in his future career. I am confident that in the next chapter of his professional life, Artur will continue contributing to the development of Armenian football and supporting the initiatives of the Football Federation of Armenia,” said FFA President Armen Melikbekyan.

Artur Azaryan has worked at the FFA since 2007. Since 2013, he has been a UEFA delegate, officiating at more than 80 matches under UEFA’s auspices — including key fixtures in the UEFA European Championship finals and the UEFA Champions League.
