FFA General secretary Edgar Petrosyan’s response to FC Urartu CEO Davit Shakhbagyan’s statement

FFA General Secretary Edgar Petrosyan has responded to the statement by FC Urartu CEO Davit Shakhbagyan.

"In response to FC Urartu CEO Davit Shakhbagyan’s statement regarding the Urartu - Alashkert match of the Fastex Premier League round 22, I would like to note that the FFA values the issues raised by clubs, while emphasizing that such matters should be discussed in a professional and constructive environment.

Improving the quality of refereeing is always at the center of our attention. All matches undergo detailed analysis, and when necessary, appropriate measures are taken.

The FFA is guided exclusively by the principles of equality, impartiality, and fair competition. I invite representatives of Urartu to the FFA to discuss, together with our specialists, every controversial episode of the aforementioned match that may raise doubts.

The FFA will continue its consistent efforts to ensure transparency and a fair competitive environment in the championship.

We understand that the title race is extremely intense at this stage of the season. The Football Federation of Armenia is ready for constructive and professional discussions with all clubs regarding any refereeing-related issues.

We are confident that through mutual respect and dialogue, it is possible to ensure the sustainable development of Armenian football and maintain a high level of competition in the championship".
