Armenian Football Federation Clubs Licensing Committee holds regular meeting
On May 1, the regular meeting of the Armenian Football Federation (FFA) Clubs Licensing Committee (first-instance body) was held.
During the meeting, the licensing financial criteria documentation submitted by the following clubs for obtaining a UEFA license was reviewed:
- Alashkert FC
- Pyunik FC
- Urartu FC
- Ararat FC
- Noah FC
- Ararat-Armenia FC
- Shirak FC
If these clubs obtain the required sporting qualification, the licenses will allow them to participate in UEFA club competitions for the 2026/2027 season. The licensing department experts conducted comprehensive reviews and checks based on the submitted financial documentation. The results were presented in detail to the committee by the head of the Licensing Department and the financial expert. Based on the experts’ conclusions and the review results, the Licensing Committee unanimously decided to grant UEFA licenses to all applicant clubs. The meeting also addressed the issue of granting a UEFA Women’s Club Competitions license, which would allow women’s teams to participate in the 2026/2027 UEFA Women’s Club Competitions, subject to sporting qualification. The only applicant for this license, Pyunik FC, met all requirements and was unanimously granted the UEFA Women’s Club Competitions participation license by the committee.
