Abovyan team wins the “Solidarity Cup” of the “Integration Through Football” program

Since 2021, the Football Federation of Armenia and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) have been implementing the “Integration Through Football” program in Armenia.

On November 26, the “Solidarity Cup” tournament of the “Integration Through Football” program took place. Fifteen grassroots teams participated - children aged 9 - 12 from the regions, including those displaced from Artsakh.

The finalists were the teams of Sevan and Abovyan. The six-a-side teams played for 40 minutes, with two 20-minute halves. The Abovyan team claimed the victory. The top scorers received the Golden Boot award. The UNHCR office in Armenia had also prepared gifts for the participants of the final.
