Ararat-Armenia won Armenian Cup

The final match of the 2023/24 Armenian Cup between Ararat-Armenia and Urartu took place at Yerevan Republican Stadium after Vazgen Sargsyan on May 12.

Urartu took the lead on the 31st minute of the match with a goal from Mikael Mirzoyan, but Alexis Rodríguez's equalizer came just six minutes later. With the score tied 1-1 at halftime, the second half remained goalless, leading to overtime. With no goals in extra time, Ararat-Armenia secured victory with a 5-3 win in the penalty shootout. This marked their first cup triumph.
