The Armenian women’s national team defeated Jordan in a friendly match

The Armenian women’s national team played its first friendly match against Jordan on October 7.

Mariam Stepanyan’s team scored two goals while conceding one. Anna Dallakyan and Maral Artin were the scorers for Armenia. Jordan scored its only goal in stoppage time.

“We played until the very end, we were not afraid of difficult moments, and most importantly, we believed that we could win. I would like to thank the girls for their dedication and fighting spirit,” Mariam Stepanyan said after the match.

On October 10, the Armenian women’s national team will face Indonesia. The match will also take place in Jordan.
