Armenian Cup: Following “Hayq’s” expulsion, “Olimpia” advances to the Round of 16

The FFA Competitions Department has cancelled the Armenian Cup preliminary round match between “Hayq” and “Olimpia”, scheduled for August 24, 2026, as part of the 2026/27 season.

As a reminder, at its meeting on August 21, the FFA Disciplinary and Ethics Committee expelled “Hayk” from the Armenian First League and banned the team from participating in all competitions held under the auspices of the FFA during the 2026/27 season. “Hayk” has also been barred from playing in the First League next season.

“Olimpia” will continue its Armenian Cup campaign from the Round of 16.
