The Armenian national futsal team has reached the quarter-finals of the European championship
The Armenia national futsal team continues to make history at the European Championship. After defeating Ukraine in the first round of Group B, our team beat the Czech national team 5:4 in the second round, earning a quarter-final berth for the first time in history.
Despite conceding first, Ruben Nazaretyan’s team did not lose confidence and went into the break with a 3:1 lead. Vladimir Sanosyan and Nikita Khromikh stood out, while Tomáš Kudela scored an own goal.
In the second half, the opponents scored 3 goals, while our team scored 2. Arsen Petrosov got on the scoresheet, and Khromikh recorded a brace. He was also named the MVP of the match.
