Nikol Pashinyan and Armen Melikbekyan meet Aleksander Čeferin in Berlin
With the invitation of UEFA, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan left for Berlin where he met UEFA President Alexander Ceferin. FFA President Armen Melikbekyan and Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Arayik Harutyunyan were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the parties discussed various topics concerning the development of football in Armenia. A major point of discussion was the joint bid being prepared by the Football federations of Armenia and Georgia to host the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2029. UEFA President Ceferin expressed his support for the bid, highlighting the close cooperation between UEFA and the FFA in advancing football in Armenia.
Prime Minister Pashinyan also shared plans for enhancing football infrastructure in Armenia, emphasizing the government's commitment to foster the growth.
