U-15: Armenia National Team begins Its Development Cup tournament
The Development Cup tournament kicked off in Yerevan. In the opening match, the Armenia U-15 national team (players born in 2011) faced Uzbekistan.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw in regular time. Roman Aizatulov opened the scoring four minutes before halftime. Marat Egayan equalized for Narek Davtyan’s team. Uzbekistan won the penalty shootout 4-3.
In the other match, Moldova defeated Georgia. Regular time also ended 1-1, while the Moldovans were more accurate in the penalty shootout, winning 3-2.
