Unibank Cup: Armenia’s national futsal team opens with a victory

The international friendly futsal tournament Unibank Cup has kicked off in Yerevan.

In the opening match, Armenia’s national team defeated Moldova 2:1. In the first half, Ruben Nazaretyan’s team gained a two-goal advantage thanks to own goals by the opponent.

In the second half, the opponents pulled one goal back, but were unable to avoid defeat.

Ruben Nazaretyan’s team will play its next match on December 22, facing the national team of Kyrgyzstan.
