The 2026-27 Armenian First League season has kicked off

The 2026–27 Armenian First League season kicked off on August 3. BKMA-2 recorded a comprehensive victory in the opening round.

The Yerevan-based club scored four unanswered goals against Lernayin Artsakh. Gor Grigoryan netted a brace, while Artak Galstyan and Erik Vouvounikian each scored once.

Andranik also claimed a 4:0 victory, defeating Ararat-2. David Ghiasyan scored twice for the Gegharkunik-based club, while Erik Petrosyan and Ararat Chilingaryan also got on the scoresheet.

Olimpia marked its Armenian First League debut with a victory. Roman Simonyan's side defeated Urartu-2 2:0, thanks to two goals from Denilson Carvalho da Silva.

Sardarapat-2 also celebrated its league debut with a 1:0 win over Shirak-2. Yesayi Baghramyan scored the only goal of the match in the 86th minute.
