John van't Schip announces Armenian national team squad for upcoming friendlies

Ahead of the upcoming friendly matches against Kosovo and Montenegro, Armenian national team head coach John van’t Schip has announced the squad called up for the training camp.

The coaching staff had initially planned to invite several players. Due to various reasons some ot them will not be able to join the national team this time.

Specifically, goalkeeper Ognjen Cancarevic has undergone surgery and is expected to recover within two weeks. Tigran Barseghyan is also preparing for surgery and will not be available. Due to injuries, Vahan Bichakhchyan and Ugochukwu Iwu will also miss the upcoming training camp.

Armenian national team will begin their training camp on May 31 at the FFA Technical Center/Football Academy.

On June 5, the team will travel to Pristina for the first friendly match against Kosovo on June 6 at the “Fadil Vokrri” Stadium. The match is scheduled to kick off at 21:00 Yerevan time.

Following that, the team will head to Podgorica to face Montenegro in the second friendly. The match will take place at the “City Stadium” in Niksic and will begin at 22:00 Yerevan time.
