Regular meeting of the FFA club licensing committee held

FFA 02.05.2025 16:49

On May 2, a regular meeting of the Club Licensing Committee of the Football Federation of Armenia (First Instance Body) was held, during which the financial licensing documentation packages of “Alashkert,” “Ararat-Armenia,” “Urartu,” “Pyunik,” “Noah,” “Shirak,” and “Van” football clubs were reviewed for the purpose of obtaining a UEFA club license. Upon meeting the relevant sporting criteria, these licenses grant the clubs the right to participate in the 2025/2026 UEFA club competitions.

Based on the submitted financial documentation, the Licensing Department's experts conducted the necessary examinations. The results were presented in detail by the Head of the Licensing Department and the financial expert. Based on the findings and conclusions of the experts, the Licensing Committee unanimously decided to grant UEFA licenses to all candidate clubs.

During the same session, the issue of granting a UEFA Women's Club Competition license was also discussed. This license gives women’s teams of clubs the opportunity to participate in the 2025/2026 UEFA Women's Club Competitions, subject to meeting the required sporting criteria.

The only club that applied for this license, “Pyunik” FC, met all the required criteria and was granted the corresponding license.
