Seminar meeting with the participation of licensing officers of candidate clubs for First Group licensing

On April 23, a seminar meeting organized by the FFA Club Licensing Department took place at the FFA. It was attended by licensing officers of the candidate clubs for First Group licensing in the Republic of Armenia. The seminar was conducted by the Head of the FFA Club Licensing Department, Naira Abramyan.

Six clubs have applied to participate in the licensing process for the 2026/2027 First Group championship season: “SA Mika” NGO, “Bentonit FC” NGO, “Lernayin Artsakh FC” LLC, “Olympia FC” NGO, “Ararati Araks FC” NGO, and “Hayk FC” SA NGO. Obtaining the respective license, subject to achieving sporting qualification, will grant the clubs the right to participate in the 2026/2027 Armenian First Group championship.

During the seminar meeting, club representatives were introduced to all the changes made compared to the previous season regarding licensing criteria and the overall process. Based on the submitted documentation packages, the FFA Club Licensing Committee will consider the issue of granting the “First Group” license to the candidate clubs on May 29 of this year.
