Tirana hosted the UEFA Club Licensing and financial sustainability regional seminar

On February 24–25, the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Regional Seminar took place in Tirana, the capital of Albania. The FFA was represented by Acting Head of the Licensing Department, Naira Abrahamyan.

The seminar covered the latest amendments to the club licensing system, financial sustainability and monitoring requirements, the process of submission and assessment of clubs’ financial statements, internal financial control, the structure of the legal group, the reporting group, as well as the distribution of solidarity payments and the quantitative changes to the relevant criteria.

Participants exchanged experiences with representatives of various associations, discussed practical challenges and solutions in the licensing process, and were introduced to UEFA’s upcoming developments in the field of club licensing and financial sustainability.
