From February 16–18, a meeting of the UEFA Club Licensing Exchange Programme was held in Riga. The delegation of the Football Federation of Armenia included Deputy General Secretary Tatevik Asatryan, Acting Head of the Licensing Department Naira Abramyan, and Licensing Department Specialist Nune Sargsyan.

The meeting marked the launch of cooperation between the football federations of Armenia and Latvia, aimed at improving club licensing systems and exchanging expertise.

During the programme, the parties presented the structure of their licensing systems, operational mechanisms, monitoring procedures, as well as the challenges of the club licensing process and possible solutions to overcome them. The open and constructive environment fostered professional dialogue, strengthened mutual trust, and laid a solid foundation for joint initiatives.

The exchange programme is planned to be implemented in three phases. The next meeting will take place in June in Armenia, while the final phase will be held in July in Nyon at the UEFA headquarters. At that time, the results of the exchange programmes involving around 10 participating federations will be summarized.
