UEFA Share Seminar starte in Yerevan
On November 4, the UEFA Share seminar kicked off in Yerevan. Thirty-four representatives from 20 countries arrived in Armenia to take part in the discussion.
The UEFA-organized Share seminars aim to promote the continuous development of European football by encouraging the exchange of knowledge in football and management, as well as by introducing new concepts to UEFA member associations.
The main goal of these seminars is to create an environment where representatives of associations can share experiences, foster cooperation, and apply innovative approaches in football management.
The seminar for grassroots football leaders focuses on relevant and practical topics, ensuring effective learning outcomes for the participants.
The sessions are held through interactive theoretical courses, group discussions, and practical exercises that engage participants in problem analysis and decision-making processes.
According to Armenian Football Federation (FFA) President Armen Melikbekyan, grassroots football is the foundation of the sport:
“Grassroots football involves every member of society, and that is what makes it so important. It’s different from professional football. Yes, there is competition, but it’s of a different kind and for different reasons. That’s why we are doing our best, with our limited resources, to promote the development of grassroots football. I am proud that Armenia has become a platform for professionals to meet and exchange ideas,” said the FFA President in his opening remarks.
The UEFA Share discussions in Yerevan will continue until November 7. At the end of the seminar, participants will receive certificates.
