Armenian Cup. Shirak and Urartu in the 1/4 finals

In the 1/8 finals of the Armenian Cup, Shirak defeated Ararat Arax 4–0. Rafik Misakyan, Rudik Mkrtchyan, Vardan Tovmasyan, and Grigor Ghumashyan were the scorers.

In the other match of the day, Urartu also scored four unanswered goals against Van. Karen Melkonyan netted a brace in the home match, while Edik Vardanyan and Oleg Polyakov scored one goal each.

As a result, Shirak and Urartu have advanced to the quarterfinals of the cup.
