FFA represents the procedure to become a licenced Football Agent

The exam to become a licenced FIFA agent will take place on May 22, 2024. The applications can be accepted until March 31.

For those candidates who are not exempt from taking the FIFA football agent exam, the first step to obtain a licence to act as a Football Agent is to submit an application via the FIFA Agent Platform.

Certain eligibility requirements must be met. Check the FIFA Football agent regulations for further details.

If your application is successful, you will be invited to sit the FIFA Football Agent Exam.  You can freely choose at which member association you want to take the exam.

Were you an agent licenced according to the former FIFA Players’ Agents Regulations (1991, 1995, 2001 and 2008 editions)? If you were formerly licenced as an agent pursuant to the FIFA Players’ Agent Regulations (1991, 1995, 2001 or 2008 edition), you may be exempt from taking the FIFA football agent exam. Please note that this is a temporary exemption available up to and including 30 September 2023. For Legacy Football Agents, the first step to obtain a licence to act as a Football Agent is to submit an application via the FIFA Agent Platform. 

You will need to provide evidence that you were previously licenced as a player agent in accordance with the relevant FIFA regulations and that you were registered as an intermediary with a member association between 1 April 2015 and the date of the approval of the FIFA Football Agent Regulations.
