The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), with the support of UEFA, has launched the UEFA A coaching license course. The first of the eight modules has already taken place.

A total of 24 coaches participated - 22 men and 2 women. The course was conducted by UEFA Technical Instructor Dariusz Pasieka, assisted by five FFA instructors.

"The FFA made the right move by organizing the 'A' license course with UEFA’s support. This is not just classroom work; we will also be working with students in their own clubs. Evaluating a coach while they work with their team is much more effective than just in lessons. At this stage, we are mainly focusing on game systems, styles, defense, and transitions. In the near future, we will address other important topics such as player engagement, coaching skills, and leadership. Participants come from various levels—from professional to youth team coaches and assistants. This diversity is very important, as combining different experiences is truly valuable. In this module, I was assisted by five instructors from the Football Federation of Armenia. They are licensed professionals who worked excellently and supported the participants. My goal is to teach not only the students but also the instructors. When I leave, FFA representatives should be ready to independently and effectively conduct future courses. However, before that, we still have six modules to go, during which we will analyze the matches of the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA U-17 Championship held in Armenia, as well as international competitions, including the 2026 World Cup," - said Dariusz Pasieka.

After the 7th module, participants will take an exam. Those who pass will receive the UEFA A coaching license.
