From the point of view of popularization of football in the Republic of Armenia it is important to involve people with disabilities in football. By emphasizing participation and a healthy lifestyle, we can make football popular among those, who believe that they will never be able to play football. Such types of football for people with disabilities as Blind Football, Deaf and Dumb Football, Amputee football, Wheelchair football, Football for people with Mental Health Problems, etc. are popular all over the world. FFA tries in every possible way to promote and support the development of the above-mentioned types of football.

FFA constantly cooperates with partner organizations in order to organize inclusive football events.

Blind Football

Since 2019, with the efforts of FFA Grassroots and Amateur Football unit the World Federation of Blind Sports, open Blind Football trainings are held in Armenia.

People who are completely blind or those with residual vision take part in the trainings.

The training is conducted by the FFA appointed and a specially trained coach. Blind football is an adaptation of the game for athletes with visual problems. This mini game is usually played on a hard field with a modified futsal ball that gives sound signals. 5 players from each team take part in the game. It is developing rapidly around the world with national leagues, regional and world championships, as well as paralympic competitions. In 2022 Armenian Blind Football National team took part in an international tournament held in Sweden for the first time in history.
